Worry and frustration need no fertilizer
They spring from barren and rich soil alike
Clouding reality with pessimism
Closing the gates of idealism
Making the mundane unbearable
And the hopelessness…just terrible.
But take a moment…
Just…
Be still…
The ancestors dance in the wind
To the rhythm of nature they sway and bend
The light from the sun sparkles on the leaves
As hope and calm is thankfully received.
So when doubt and fear hang clouds over your head
And it’s the daily grind that you dread
Just take a moment to absorb the beauty that surrounds
And I’m sure you'll find…there are blessings abound.
Reclaim the power in yourself
Reaffirm the positive
Renounce the negative
And if need be…
Just…
Be still…

like the inspiration Nefertiti, needed it...favorite lines:
"Worry and frustration need no fertilizer
They spring from barren and rich soil alike
Clouding reality with pessimism"
and
"The ancestors dance in the wind
To the rhythm of nature they sway and bend"
I like the truths in them
I like to think that they're still around, always, but the majority of us don't know how to listen to them and to "HER"(wink)or don't want to out of fear (this material existence/consciousness is safe and comforting if you think about it)...how do we separate that 9 to 5, material-world, TV-programming chatter of the collective conscious (which we’re prone to tune into 1st), from Their voice and "HER" voice...I love 3am in any time zone--it's quiet, most are asleep and less chatter...I believe she is the universe, is everything, and "feelings"/intuition is their/her voice speaking to us...feelings would be a common language for any type of existence/awareness (I FEEL therefore I am)... but the feeling can also be your society’s chatter…How do we separate the two or three and know who is who?

Peace...or some semblance thereof is a real virtue; one that we should really try to strive for on a regular basis & this almost always requires us to be still. You and I have discussed this many times, and I believe that you convey in this piece, your overall beliefs about what truly matters in life.
These are monumental words Nefertiti. I am so glad that you are bringing "you" to the forefront and sharing your considerable talents with us.
Lovin' it.
